Rail Trail

Dec 13, 2011   //   by lane   //   hikes  //  No Comments

The Pemberton Rail trail is a gravel road covering roughly 1.25 miles and connecting Birmingham Road to a railroad museum on Hanover St in Pemberton. A little under 3 miles, Longbridge hugs the Rancocas and is good for killing an hour with a dog walk. In the spring the ground is covered with caterpillars -so the squeamish should beware.

Found this gem as I strolled around the lake that introduces visitors to Skypark in the Poconos. Nice trip. Thanks Mom.
